M & M Stockyards and Steel Fabrications was established 30 years ago by Frank, Shane and Maxeen McNamara. Starting out as a general engineering business (formerly M & M Traders) we occupied a smaller premises in Market St, Manilla NSW.
Early in the piece, we were contracted by a local farmer to build a set of stockyards and that’s where it all began. Not long after that we attended the Ag-quip Field Days in Gunnedah NSW where we received an overwhelming amount of orders and put on extra staff immediately.
Frank and Maxeen retired along the way and that’s when we (Shane and Judy) continued to owner operate the business.
Growing in leaps and bounds over the years we shifted into our current location at 25 Arthur St, Manilla NSW giving us fantastic opportunity to display our products and yards and give our employees the space they need.
The focus of our business is manufacturing quality cattle yards and sheep yards and supplying other stockyard products, along with providing impeccable sales service, through to professional delivery and on-site set-up.
When you deal with M & M Stockyards you are dealing directly with the manufacturer so products can be custom built to suit your needs.
Proud to be an Australian manufacturer using Australian steel

Chris and Nathan are back on deck in the office today after attending the Australian National Field Days (ANFD) in Borenore (15 klm west of Orange NSW) last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
They achieved really good sales over the 3 days and delivered and set-up the display cattle yards from the ANFD site to a happy customer on Sunday. We would like to thank the customers that purchased the yards and other gear at the field days and we hope we can help those who showed interest in our products in the future.
We would also like to thank the very friendly volunteers and staff of the Australian National Field Days for their hard work and dedication to running a very professional and well organised event. If you couldn’t make it this year, make sure to put the ANFD on your calendar for next year. Field days like this help manufacturers, retailers, primary producers and government organisations showcase their products and share information and it is the ideal location for you to compare the product quality and customer service of those in attendance.
At M & M Stockyards we pride ourselves on manufacturing quality products and providing excellent customer service and remember when you purchase from M & M Stockyards, you are supporting a family owned and operated Australian manufacturer that employs locals in the rural community of Manilla, NSW.
